Getting Bookings for Jamberry Parties - advice from the leaders!

Mandy M.  I love to do Private demos. I get them to my house one on one and when they see the magic happen on their pretty little fingers and want to order I say..... GIRL!!! Don't buy! Host a party and get them for free!!!! Works every time!!!

Patricia C. The best way *I* get parties booked? I tell myself to go for No - my goal is to ASK, no matter the outcome. My sponsor challenged me to get 30 No's in 3 days. I have asked 18 with 4 No, 1 Not Now, 3 Yes, and the rest have yet to respond. I have to ask more people today to finish at least my 30, and follow up next week with those who have not responded.

How to keep your eye on the prize

Everyone knows that we are supposed to set goals.

The trick is to actually have PLANS in place to accomplish them.  Statistics tell us that people who write down their goals are much more likely to achieve them, so... the first step is to write them down.  Long Hand.  As in actually with pen and paper.

Facebook Party - Should you invite ALL your friends?

Borrowed from a leader friend who borrowed from another leader friend. Sharing is Caring!

Facebook Info -- Did you know that when you or your hostess invite "too many" people to an online party that the Facebook algorithm for what gets put into your guests or hostess' newsfeed changes?

Tips for successful Facebook parties...

Have you ever wished you could be a fly on the wall when leaders are discussing what works for them?  Well - here are the best of the best discussing what works for them when it comes to Facebook parties for their Jamberry Nails business!

Summer H. I find that when a Facebook party isn't a one night live one, you have to specifically mention it's time to shop. Also that game with the picture clues to guess the name of the wrap the picture gives the clue to actually makes them go to your website & look around. My sales are always higher with those two things shared

5 places to market your biz online

Rayven Perkins from Direct-Sales-Supplies.com here with some of my favorite tips to marketing your business online. These days most distributors want to build their businesses both online and offline. It's a great way to make the most of your time! But there is a learning curve when it comes to online marketing. Here are some ways to get started:

Social Media Profile
When it comes to marketing your biz online, social media is king. I daresay that the majority of party plan reps who are actually making money online have a social media presence. The top social media platforms are Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube, Pinterest, and Instagram.

Each platform has its advantages so I recommend creating a profile for each one and playing around with them. Get a feel for them and how you can use them to promote your business and stick with the ones that best fits your needs. Personally I love Facebook and Twitter because of the ease with which you can not only reach out to your target market, but develop a relationship with them.

Personal Website/Blog
Another option that you have for promoting your business online is to create your own blog or website. Many party plan reps use their company's replicated website to promote their products and their business opportunity. However, the problem with using your company's replicated website is that you don't stand out amongst the hundreds or thousands of other people in your company who sell the exact same thing.

You also cannot usually customize your website very much - making it difficult to use it to attract your target audience. But, if you own your own blog or website you have much more control over the content and reach of your site. You can customize it to target whoever you want to and to brand yourself in a way that allows you to stand out in the crowd.

You can also use advertising websites such as Craigslist to promote your products and business opportunity. Just be careful that you are complying with your company's rules regarding using websites like this (if there are any).

Local Website

You should also definitely looking to promoting your home party businesses on any local websites. Some examples would be your town/city's website and your chamber of commerce's website. You can often use local websites to not only promote your products and business opportunity, but to also promote any events that you are hosting (such as opportunity meetings for potential recruits).

Join Network Marketing Forums

When it comes to direct sales, who you know can often open up doors to tremendous opportunities. That is why networking is so important. You never know which one of your colleagues in the direct sales industry will know about an event or opportunity that would be perfect for you. And when done right, you can also promote to your network marketing friends. After all, you already know that they have the right mindset - they are interested in owning their own business and are willing to give it a shot. Also, many are open to having multiple streams of income. You might just find your next rockstar in a networking forum or Facebook group.

How to answer the Pyramid Scheme question

How to answer the Pyramid Scheme question
Rayven here from Direct-Sales-Supplies.com. When it comes to this industry, one question that is very common is "is this a pyramid scheme?" Even if you are offering a well-known business opportunity you are likely to hear this from someone. You might even be curious about it as well. So right now I want to take some time discuss how to answer this.

In the early 1920s, Charles Ponzi, an Italian immigrant, invented the pyramid scheme. Back in those days, postage reply coupons were exchanged in foreign countries for stamps. And since some areas of the world had a struggling economy, a postal reply coupon had a varying exchange rate.

Today's Tip

One of the beauties of a home based business is the flexibility that it gives us. There is also a dangerous component of that flexibility and that is that we have the potential of “flexing ourselves right OUT of the business.”

How to get a free booth at a carnival

Almost every PTA, school, church, sports organization... does carnivals. It may be for fundraising, it may be to celebrate something, but almost all of them do it.
Attach a piece of candy to this coupon as your hand-out :)
I have these printed at Walgreens photo as 4*6 pictures.  Full color for 5-10 cents each :)
If it's a fundraiser, the booth fee as a vendor is usually anywhere from $25 - $500 - depending on the organization. Would you like to have a FREE BOOTH?
