Today's Tip
Subject: Summertime Recipe for
Success - Ingredient #4: Schedule your Fall Kickoff NOW!
Most companies have new products that are unveiled for the fall. Many
highlight them as a part of their national convention (often happening in
the summer months). Your job as a team leader is to be sure that all of
your team members are EXCITED about what is new for the fall. The best
way to build that excitement is to be sure they have experienced the new
fall products with all of their senses - up close and personal.
Schedule a fall gathering in your area that will serve as a re-cap of
convention (if your company has had a summer convention) and will
highlight the new fall products. Enlist the help of others on your team -
YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS BY YOURSELF… “Many hands make the work light”. If
you don't have a team yet then roll up your sleeves and volunteer to help
the leaders in your area who ARE organizing this event. It's the best way
for you to learn how much fun being in leadership can be!
NOTE** This also should be an event that includes customers and
hostesses! It is a wonderful way to highlight not only the new fall
products but for them to “check out your company” as a business they can
run from home around their kid's school and activities schedule.
