It was a pleasure having you as my host. I know you will be pleased with all of your selections.

Left Right Game for Jamberry Nails Consultants

Merri has always liked having nails that look nice but as she has tried all the different nail products she was always left disappointed. Polishing her nails left her frustrated because right away she would have a task that needed done before her nails were left to dry. If by chance she was left with enough time for the polish to dry, then she was left crying because changing diapers, washing dishes, cleaning rooms (only mom can do it right!) would cause the polish to crack and peel right away, And if you are right handed, well painting your left hand doesn’t work well. And, if you're left handed, your right hand will look like it's been painted by a kindergartner!  Am I right?

Re-booking "Cancelled" Parties

Send by email, personal note or text:

Sally,

I was just browsing over some of my parties from last year and your name popped up -- I remembered you had a lot of "life" happen last year and could not hold your Jamberry Party. Just wondering if you might be interested in rescheduling?  We have (current customer specials, seasonal designs, etc.)

How To Get Your First Six Bookings

by Belinda Ellsworth

Your first objective in starting your new business is to date six shows in a 30-day period of time.

Some of you may say, "Well, I came into this business to do only one show a week," or "I came into this to do it part-time." That's fine. This is your own business, but I believe that to really establish yourself in the very beginning, it is very important that you hold six shows in a three- to four-week period of time. If that has to be extended over just a couple of days, that's okay, but the closer you can make that time frame, the better off you will be.

The 13 Hour Work Week

"You can build a great business by working (only) 13 hours a week."

"Every day (or five days a week) spend one 'Power Hour.' The first 15 minutes, spend the time making hostess-related calls: hostess coaching and setting up shows. The second 15 minutes, spend the time making teambuilding-related calls: following up on recruit leads or calling someone you met at a show who would be great doing what you do.

Why does someone book a show?
  1. FUN!  Keep this experience fun and you will book!
  2. Free Product
  3. To help a Friend

Getting Bookings From Shows

It's much easier to obtain bookings at the show than it is to try to obtain them later. Give yourself a goal of obtaining at least three or more bookings from every show. One to replace; one to grow; and one for insurance against cancellations. How do you do this? Ask everyone! Offer the opportunity to get free products to every single person at your show. When you shoot for the moon, you'll land among the stars!

Repeat Performance or Breakthrough Results?

Repeat Performance or Breakthrough Results

Is 2014 going to be a repeat performance of 2013, 2012 or even 2011? What’s your plan to create breakthrough results and not a repeat performance? If you don’t have a written plan, chances are you’re not going to see much change in your business this year. On the other hand, if you do have a written plan chances are you’re not going to see anything change if you don’t use it.  Below are 3 “must haves” that will help create breakthrough results in your business and not another repeat performance.

Must Have #1 – Clarity
Vague goals create vague results. You must be clear about what it is you want in order for your reality to change. If your request is vague how will you know if and when you’ve achieved your goal? The only way to know is to get crystal clear about the results you desire in your business. If it’s more money or more customers – specify the exact amount.

Must Have #2 – Commitment
This boils down to being prepared to fight for your dreams and goals as if your life depended on it. Too many business owners have one foot in and one foot out. It’s as if you’re doing the hokey pokey - sometimes you get results and sometimes you don’t. Let the hokey pokey go.

Commitment says, I’m going to achieve my goals, not, I’m going to live my dreams if. . . The latter is a negotiation between you and outside circumstances over which you have absolutely no control. You want results, you want profits, and you want more – your business will require commitment.

Must Have #3 – Consistency
Success in business is the result of consistent action. Stated differently – if you want to be a profitable business you’ll need to take action even when it seems as if nothing is happening. You want to be profitable, right? Then it’s time you divorce the “start stop” relationship that you’ve invested so much time in. You start a project then stop short of getting the results you desire. It doesn’t work when it comes to building a successful business that generates profits year after year.

If you want 2014 to be different, then you’ll have to be different. Which do you choose - repeat performance or breakthrough results?

Should You Friend your Contacts on Facebook?

These days, you’re a lot more likely to see posts from your friends than from Pages you’ve liked. So friend your customers on Facebook. Just keep in mind that you shouldn’t spam the News Feed with lots of business messages. This is against Facebook Terms of Service and it annoys people.

Use Facebook to get parties

Post on FB "if you love JAMBERRY, post a number between 1-30"

When they post their number, click through to look at their profile. If you can, find out where they live from that.
