Jamberry Nails Announces Support of the Go Red For Women® Red Dress Collection During New York Fashion Week in February 2015

Lindon, UT – It’s not often that you see an item going down the runway at New York Fashion Week that women can buy that very moment and, better yet, give to a good cause by doing so. Jamberry Nails is proud to announce its support of the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women® Red Dress Collection runway show this February at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York, as top designers and celebrities take to the runway in red gowns to support women’s heart health. One in three women will die from heart disease and stroke, yet 80 percent of it is preventable. The women walking in the show will be wearing Jamberry’s Heart Health Awareness nail wraps, of which $2 of every $15 sheet sold is donated directly to the American Heart Association to help combat this largely silent, but preventable, killer. The nail wraps are available for purchase through April 30, 2015 at JamberryNails.com and through Jamberry’s network of independent consultants.

Since its founding in 2010, Jamberry has been committed to charitable giving through monetary donations, employee volunteer days, and specially designed nail wraps that raise funds and awareness for special causes. “An estimated 43 million women in the US are affected by heart disease. Raising awareness for women’s heart health through the design and sale of our Heart Health Awareness nail wraps is very important to us. We are honored to give our consultants and other women across the country the opportunity to raise awareness of, and contribute money to, this very important cause,” says Keri Evans, one of the three sisters who founded Jamberry.

The Go Red For Women® Red Dress Collection will take place on February 12, 2015 at 8:00pm at Lincoln Center. It will be live streamed on GoRedForWomen.org. To learn more about Go Red For Women, make a change a GoRedForWomen.org.

How to Network Effectively

Networking is an important part of your Direct Sales business.  As you grow your team, it is always important to be meeting new people and connecting with those you already know.

Professional Networking is a way to accomplish this, however it is a game played by it's own set of rules.  Direct Sales consultants are not always welcomed (and for good reasons).  Learn how to make yourself indispensable and welcome at these events.

Follow Up Phone Call Scripts

from JAMsister Rebecca C.

Anatomy of the dreaded follow up phone call for a party
Use this if they marked yes, maybe, or nothing.
If she said maybe:

“You: Hi “Jane” how are you today?
Her: Fine, who is this?
You: This is “your name” I met you last night (or your event date and time) at the “such and such event”
Her: Oh yeah how are you?
You: I am doing great. I read from your sheet (or however you got their info) that you were interested in hosting a party and I just got some openings in my schedule for ____(whenever you want her to hold the party) ((Offer up to three dates, people like choices)) Since we are so close to the holidays if you want these by Thanksgiving I suggest we have it sooner rather than later. If you want it for Christmas order by this day etc...
Her: “I checked the maybe box”
You: Well Jane how can I turn your maybe into a yes? Is it a time issue, money issue? Let me know what it is. I guarantee you will have a great time hosting a party.
Her: I can’t afford to have all those people at my house and feed them.
You: Jane you can make it as minimal as you want, crackers and water would be fine. I will start right away and keep the party short, so they can still get home at a decent time for dinner. Or we can have it at a time when people will most likely already have eaten. Or make it a potluck have your guests each bring a dish. What day do think would be good for you out of the dates I have chosen?
Her: I have three kids and no sitter.
You: While although it is ideal to have a child free night. You may get more people by having it kid friendly. Plop a movie on for them tell the parents to bring a snack and you have two birds with one stone.
Her: That is a great idea!
Now book the date!!

Systems for Client Follow Up

Greats systems from a fellow Founding Executive!

I needed a system for follow up too. I started using an email scheduler. It is saving my sanity! Mine is called Right In Box, though there are others.

As soon as my customers order, I mail them a post card thank you. I write these in bulk so I just have to print a label when they order. I check my dash every day and print a label. Easy.

As soon as my customers order, I also pop over into my email and schedule an automatic email for 2 weeks and 2 months later. I have templates that I copy/paste. All I have to do is add the customer's email address and hit "send later" Now I don't have to remember to follow up. Before, I was marking these in my planner for certain days each month. I function much better this way.

Once a month, I add all of my new clients to Mail Chimp and I send a monthly newsletter through that too. I highlight new wraps (SSE, Hostess Exclusive), seasonal trends, bookings, etc.

I've found that putting my customer follow up on auto-pilot has given me more time to focus on my team.

Tips for Networking from Direct Sales Leaders

Noel Giger:
  • Search on meetup or Facebook for your town or area and "small business" "networking" "entrepreneurs" "vendors" to find groups and events.
  • Stay positive NO MATTER WHAT. If this is a struggle area, I recommend Dana Wilde's book and trainings.  Keep in mind that YOU are your brand - what you post ANYWHERE and EVERYWHERE is a reflection of you/your brand!

  • Have a great elevator speech, 30 second commercial, response to "so, what do you do?"

10 Strategies for Being a Top 10 Producer

10 Strategies for Being a Top 10 Producer
1. Hard Work. Top producers bust it. Laziness isn’t a top 10 quality. You must have the willingness to bust your chops and stay at it. You’ll be ripping through some calories to the top 10 in anything you do. Physical and mental challenges are part of the climb to the top.

2. Focus. Top people do ONE thing damn good. They are NOT a “jack of all trades”, but
