You know that saying "you get what you pay for" - this is one of those times!
If you choose the hobbyist option, you won't have:

8/18/2014 UPDATE:
Reminder Hobbyist Roll Ups
Remember that on September
15th (i.e. after the August commission run when the September website billing
is queued up to run) we will begin a policy change where Hobbyists will not be
able to have a consultant downline. Any consultants in a Hobbyist downline will
be rolled up according to the roll-up policy in the compensation plan. After
this policy is implemented, if a consultant changes its website billing to the
Hobbyist option, on the 15th day of the month following such change, the
Hobbyist's consultant downline will permanently roll-up to the next eligible
consultant in their upline. If a roll-up takes place, all commissions earned on
that downline including level overrides, fast start bonuses, and generational
overrides will be lost and will benefit the consultant to whom they rolled
up. A Hobbyist will be able to move back to a Professional Consultant
whenever they choose and begin to rebuild their business, however, the
previously lost downline will not be restored.
Consultants who will be affected by the roll-ups will be notified via email approximately three days prior to the website billing and roll-ups that will take place on the 15th of each month. For this initial roll-up, we'll be sending out a notice to all Hobbyists just after the beginning of September informing them of the implications of not upgrading their website billing.
To be sure your website billing preferences are the way you intended, please login to your workstation, click on My Account, and then on Website Billing to verify or update your preferences.

Thank you SO much for posting this! I was debating just this morning about which website to go with and you made my decision quite easy! I just needed to see the details all laid out in front of me!
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting this! All I could find on the jamberry site was "Limited functionality and support for the true Hobbyist." This makes understand said limitations so much easier!
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting this! I didn't realize that customers wouldn't be able to order from me online at all, as as hobbyist! That makes my decision!
ReplyDeleteI'm a hobbyist and I still have my dashboard, access to training including Jamberry U, and the ability to manage parties. I still am able to be a person's consultant and my parties can be selected at checkout.
ReplyDeleteApril,
DeleteAs a hobbiest how much do you have to sell a year to stay a consultant?
Thanks
